If the Church is depicted as a bride to Christ, who could be seen as a wife to God the Father?

Genesis 25:1 KJV

[1] Then again, Abraham took a wife, and her name was Ketura.

Let us know that Jesus taught this portion of scripture to His disciples. Note that when He resurrected on Easter Sunday, He appeared to two disciples on their way to Emaaeus and failed to recognize Jesus; the bible says Jesus started to teach them the bible, starting with Moses. When we talk about Moses, remember he wrote the first five books of the Old Testament: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. Jesus tried to go through the Old Testament to explain the duo’s understanding.

Technically, Genesis chapters 22-24 focus on the passion of Christ.

Chapter 22,
the son offered up; this was when Abraham took his son for sacrifice on the mountain, where 2000 years later, God the Father will take His son Jesu as a sacrifice on the same mountain now called Golgotha or Calvary.

Chapter 23,
After Abraham’s son ISonc was offered up in chapter 22, Abraham’s wife Sarah, the mother of Israel, died as in verse two. This woman, Sarah, the mother of Israel, speaks of the Jewish nation and their religious system, which was put away or, let me say, died just like Sarah.

How was it buried? Well, when Christ also died and was hanging on the cross, the veil in the temple was wrapped from bottom to top. It means the law and its legalists died and were put away. The Jews were scattered, and also they said they wouldn’t allow Jesus to rule them, and Jesus added they’d be scattered. So, in Genesis chapter 23, Sarah was put away as the Jews were wiped away, including the law and the legalistic system.

Chapter 24
In this chapter, after Father Abraham has lost Sarah, he sends his unnamed servant to go and find a bride for his son. When Jesus died, the spirit was sent out to search for a bride. Listen, the soul is searching a bride for who? This bride is for God’s son, Jesus Christ. And the bible tells us that we, the believers, are the bride of Christ. Just as Father Abraham sends a servant to look for a bride for his son, the spirit of God is sent to search for a bride for His son Jesus, who will be married and taken to heaven. I love the way the bible calls us Christians a bride, not brides.

When the servant brought the bride, she was brought to Isaac, who was waiting at his father’s house. What was Isaac doing while waiting in his father’s field? We are told he was meditating, as King James’ version puts it, but in Hebrew, this portrays he was praying. ” I need a wife; I need a bride for my father’s house with many mansions.”

Isaac took her to his tent when the bride arrived, and they consummated the relationship. Our Isaac Jesus also waits as the servants preach and look for Christ’s bride. Once the last person gets saved, Christ meets us in the cloud, as recorded in 1 Thessalonians chapter 4. And this time Christ meets us, we see Him, touch Him, and shall always be with Him. This will be the only marriage where there’s no divorce. Divorce letters will be history. We shall be in His father’s house to a home which is heaven, well prepared.

Now, Abraham lost Sarah and sent a servant to find a bride for Isaac. Next, we look at Chapter 25. The question that comes to mind is that Abraham focuses on his son’s marriage; what about Him?

Thank you
